The 4-drop rule: how much serum actually works
Most people use either far too little serum or twice what the skin can take. Both waste the bottle. Four drops is the working amount for a full face: one for each cheek, one for the forehead, one shared between chin and neck.
Apply on damp skin
Pat the face dry, but not bone dry. A slightly damp surface helps a light, translucent texture spread further and absorb faster, so you need less product for the same coverage.
Press, do not rub
Rubbing drags the skin and pushes product into your palms. Press the serum in with flat fingers, working upwards and outwards along the jaw and cheekbones. Twenty seconds is enough.
Wait sixty seconds
Give the serum a minute before your moisturiser. Sealing it too early traps it on the surface and leaves a tacky finish that people mistake for a heavy formula.
Twice a day, every day
Firmness responds to consistency, not intensity. Two applications daily for six weeks beats an aggressive week followed by a forgotten month — and one 30 ml bottle covers exactly that period.
