The 8-hour lipstick secret isn't a long-wear formula — it's a technique called the full liner base.

Instead of just outlining, fill the entire lip with liner first. Liner formulas are waxier and grip skin far longer than lipstick. Your lipstick becomes a top coat: when it fades at lunch, the liner base underneath fades evenly — no ring, no patchiness.

Level two: blot once with tissue after the liner fill, apply lipstick, blot again, second thin coat. Level three (bridal artist standard): translucent powder pressed through a tissue between the two lipstick coats.
